I received this set of cloth diapers (CD) in the mail today. Yipee! I'm a happy mom. The designs are so pleasing to my eyes.
I started cloth diapering my baby at two months when she had a case of UTI. Poor baby, she was my second child, but I never had a problem like that with my first born because I used the classic cloth diapers: "Lampin". But now that I don't have household help anymore, I used Disposable Diapers (DD) full time to save me time, but my baby ended up being hospitalized for UTI. So I decided to use modern cloth diapers for convenience but was still using DDs every now and then. Just recently, she got folliculitis on her bum, when she took antibiotics and had bowel irritation. So I decided to make cloth diapering full time. And because I also had extra funds on hand, I bought her some more.
I bought my first set of cloth diapers from lazada.com.ph, they have fast deliveries but they are quite pricey as compared to those independent distributors and retailers online.
I'd like to share to you where I shop for cheap but quality cloth diapers online.
The Chipper Online Shoppe
This shop sells the cheapest cloth diapers that I have found so far. They sell Naughty baby and QQ diapers for as low as 100PHP for pockets only, while the MF inserts are sold for as low as 60PHP.
They have several payment methods, but if you like, you can pay through BPI so that there will be no extra charge. Shipping is fast though, my orders came the day after I paid.
Andee's Closet
They sell printed Alva cloth diapers with MF insert for 240PHP or you can buy them at 1200 for 5 pcs with a free wet bag.
What I like with this seller is that it accepts payment through Paypal and with no additional charge. Although they ship through Xend which means about 2 to days for those in the South to receive the package. But it is worth the wait, I must say.
Washable Cloth Diapers
They sell single snap cloth diapers for 1000PHP for 5 pcs plus free shipping nationwide, or buy them per piece at 200PHP. They also sell Alva brand cloth diapers.

A lot of cloth diapers are now sold at local malls. I was able to buy at a local mall here in Cebu for only 200+ (with 1 insert na), hehehe. Later, when CD's became popular, they increased the price to 300+, LOL! Cloth diapers are really useful and cost effective. My child is now 3 years old (she's been using CDs since birth) and although she's already potty-trained, we still let her wear cloth diapers at night. It saves a lot compared to using DDs because sometimes in the morning we notice that my child didn't pee in her sleep, so no DDs (and money) was wasted ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad to know, but here in Gensan, they sell it for 300 without inserts. Still quite pricey. Thanks for dropping by my page.. :-)
