Just this February, me and my family had a short trip to Davao and we brought the kids along. Even if our trip was short we tried to find a place in Davao where the children can have fun even for a short time so as to make their trip quite memorable. Then we ended up in Davao Crocodile Park.
At first, I was hesitant to go there because I don't really have fond memories there way back more than 15 years ago. It was very much different and more developed as I remembered it. And I was thankful that the children actually enjoyed their short field trip.
Entrance fee is 200 per adult and 100 per child (2-12 years old). Luckily we went there on a Tuesday, so my mother-in-law went in there for free because they provide free entrance fee for senior citizens every Tuesday but only 50% off during regular days.

I believe they also breed ostriches since the have a large breeding ground of ostriches which is also nice so that they have a large place to run about.
This tiger was walking back and forth while we take his picture. Seldom can we see tigers on mini zoos, but DCP has several of them. It was nice that my girls weren't frightened of the tiger.

Of course, the place would not be named as Davao Crocodile Park if they don't have crocodiles, right? they actually have numbers and numbers of crocodiles there. They also have breeding grounds for crocodiles. They also sell crocodile meat, which unfortunately, we did not get to taste.

This peacock is only one amongst the collection of birds they have in DCP. Common birds are taken cared of in DCO and I'm sure the children will surely appreciate looking at the different species of birds.
Another great attraction in DCP is the Butterfly Garden. Although I must say that their butterflies are very few, but at least your children get to see live. As you seldom see butterflies nowadays in the city.
