My eldest daughter finished Nursery last March 25, 2014. For their program they will present a song and dance number about different animals. The girls were required to wear a Butterfly Costume. I was looking for a cheap costume and found the butterfly wing sold for 300 pesos at Toy Kingdom, so I have to purchase the blouse and skirt separately. But then, the crafty me, told myself that I could save much if I made it myself. So I would be sharing with you how I got to create my little girl's butterfly costume from scratch.

I am the type of cook who like to cook recipes that are easy to cook and light on the budget. So this first recipe for my 15 Minute Recipe series, is something that is made out of ingredients that are readily available in my fridge. As of this writing, I have corn and beef inside the fridge, so I made up something out of it and here it is: Stir Fried Beef and Corn.
Every kid loves to play at playhouses, even those who are kids at heart can have fun playing there too. As a mom of two girls, I am in constant search of things that would please them and make them happy. And oh how they love to play inside a play house. Most probably because they have lots of toys to feast on and have lots of activities to do inside. And because they are both girls, they love dolls and doll houses and dress up like princesses.

So in search for the best playhouse for my kids, I tried all the mall play houses in General Santos City, where we live. We tried three but we will also be enumerating play houses which you should also check out.

There are a lot of shoe sales this month of March. I am the one who like to grab the sale but only when I really need to buy an item. This time, I am in need of a good pair of shoes and I was lucky that this month of March there are lots of shoe sale in different malls in Gensan.

This Sunday, March 9 I had the opportunity to shop with my little girl, after going to our church service and here are my great finds.

I received this set of cloth diapers (CD) in the mail today. Yipee! I'm a happy mom. The designs are so pleasing to my eyes.

I started cloth diapering my baby at two months when she had a case of UTI. Poor baby, she was my second child, but I never had a problem like that with my first born because I used the classic cloth diapers: "Lampin". But now that I don't have household help anymore, I used Disposable Diapers (DD) full time to save me time, but my baby ended up being hospitalized for UTI. So I decided to use modern cloth diapers for convenience but was still using DDs every now and then. Just recently, she got folliculitis on her bum, when she took antibiotics and had bowel irritation. So I decided to make cloth diapering full time. And because I also had extra funds on hand, I bought her some more.

I love online shopping. I have done several online shopping transactions already since 2012. But in my own observation of Filipino shoppers, people still want to go to the physical stores to shop most especially for fashion items were you can easily return items that does not fit.

But why shop online? If you are from the South like me. You may probably know that there are a lot of items that are available in NCR which are not readily available here. And sometimes, even if they are available here, buying from Manila would be much cheaper even if the shipping rate is included.

Not known to many there are a lot of local online shops were you can buy even groceries, furniture and anything you can imagine.

I tried this offer, thinking I can save money by just using Opera to browse the net. Since I am not really fond of using other apps in my phone apart from browsing the web, which I usually do on my desk top PC, I decided to try it.
